Daniel Ellsworth — Between the Sea & the Sun Buy it at Amazon
Nashville based singer/songwriter Daniel Ellsworth grew up in Minnesota. Here on “Between the Sea & the Sun” he tackles head-on piano pop with a dash of lonely blues, roots rock, ‘70s funk, and jazz. Lyrically it spins cycles around various emotions though it has more melancholy than anything else. He’s a very talented musician and songwriter with nifty arrangements speckling much of the album. John Mayer and Daniel Ellsworth would make a great funky tag team.
